“ It is absolutely worth a visit. It is one of a few restaurants in Prince Albert that open early and close late. 7pm tot 7 am. Huge outdoor seating area. Pet friendly. The food is really good. Most divine coffee in town. Their cakes are freshly made and delicious. Inside, they sell wine, fresh produce , and preservatives. The menu is vast and the breakfast was outstanding.The staff are extremely friendly and well trained. Highly recommended. ”
“ In 2010 during a family holiday, after a trip from "the Hell", we stumbled on the Lazy Lizard and it happened at a time when the apple pies came fresh out of the oven. For years we argued whether the pie was really that good, or were we just that hungry. This time, after 15yrs, me and my son included the Lazy Lizzard on our bike tour from Gauteng for the sake of settling the debate. The apple pie, which was confirmed to be the same recipe all these years, did not dissapoint. Still the best apple pie we have ever had, twice. ”

“ It was Sunday, we were camping and had packed up expecting to have dinner at a restaurant that should have been open on Sunday evening,but was closed!! We drove through town,which was deserted,except for the Lazy Lizard!!. The menu has a good variety of meals. We had a pizza and then I had the carrot cake,my husband the apple pie,with the most delicious cream!! We were helped by the friendliest waitress. Definitely recommended ”
“ First time to PA. This place caught our attention as we drove past. We sat on the raised porch and watched the world go by. Elderly locals played scrabble inside. Ate there twice. Thoroughly enjoyed the roast chicken with an abundance of healthy roasted veggies. Sourdough bread of the sandwich was excellent. The healthy meusli breakfast was thoughtful: deconstructed with locally made yogurt, home made delicious toasted meusli and finely chopped fruit and a hot crusty muffin that melted in my mouth. Bought frozen hearty beef soup which was very good. The place felt like home. Will always come back here. ”

If you do sit outside in summer, use something for mosquitos and some parts of the playground might be too hot to play on. ”
